Description
We’re hiring a Marketing & Communications Intern for summer 2026 through the City of Madison’s AASPIRE program! It’s a paid position and a great chance to get hands-on experience and build your portfolio.
Examples of projects you may work on include:
– Creating social media graphics and reels
– Drafting press releases and media announcements
– Assisting with planning and staffing outreach activities
– Creating outreach campaigns (for example, an e-bike & e-moto safety campaign)
– Contributing to the development of an agency-wide Communications Plan
– Creating marketing materials for the RoundTrip program, which helps Dane County commuters find carpool and bike partners and encourages people to swap solo car trips for more sustainable travel options
About the Greater Madison MPO: We’re a regional transportation planning agency serving all or parts of 36 communities in Dane County, Wisconsin. Housed within the City of Madison Planning Division, the MPO helps guide and fund transportation investments and brings communities together to plan a safer, more accessible, and more sustainable transportation system.
