Description
We’re looking for a Social Media & Digital Content Associate to help create, manage, and grow social media content across multiple channels — primarily, though not exclusively, in the political and advocacy space.
This role is heavily focused on hands-on content creation and channel ownership, with additional support work across our agency’s digital projects.
About two-thirds of our clients are in the progressive space (nonprofits, 501(c)(4)s, candidates, etc.). The rest run the gamut from solopreneurs and tiny nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies and everything in between.
Every day is a fun and interesting adventure in the digital world. Join us!
Who should apply
This role is ideal for a social media native — someone who can pull together a social graphic, whip up a meme in their sleep, and has a good sense of what’s trending online.
If you can write an email or a blog post, great. But make no mistake: this is a social-media-first job.
Some experience working with a progressive political campaign or organization (intern or volunteer experience counts) is a plus, and familiarity with the Wisconsin political landscape would be especially helpful.
We’re looking for a self-starter who isn’t afraid to dig in, learn new skills, test ideas, and pitch concepts for both our organization and our clients. Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions are essential.
What you’ll be doing
Social media (approximately 75% of the role):
-Own day-to-day management of one or more social media channels, including content creation, curation, scheduling, and basic community management
-Create social graphics and visual assets
-Edit short-form video and add captions for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
-Write clear, engaging captions and adapt content for different platforms
-Track basic performance and help report on what’s working
Agency and project support (approximately 25% of the role):
-Conduct research to support content, messaging, or client work
-Help draft and edit emails, blogs, webcopy or other written content
-Support reporting and internal organization across projects
-Assist with podcast production, including basic editing and clipping
-Pitch in on general digital and communications needs as they arise
What we’re looking for:
-Ability to own a social channel — both creation and management — without constant oversight
-Strong visual instincts and comfort with graphic design tools
-Comfort with light video editing and captioning (you don’t need to be a video expert)
-Clear, confident writing for social media
-Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
-Interest in political campaigns, advocacy, or issue-based work
(Experience in at least one campaign cycle is a plus, but not required)
Location:
While we work with campaigns all over the country, many of our clients are Wisconsin-based. Being in Wisconsin would be great, but this position is open to all US-based applicants.
Details:
-Full-time role through November 2026
-Compensation: $4000–$5000 per month, depending on experience
-$250/month healthcare stipend
-Paid time off and sick days, plus all major federal holidays
-Fully remote, with occasional evening or weekend availability as campaigns require
-Opportunity for increased responsibility and more front-facing work over time
We’re also open to hiring part-time for the right candidate — just let us know in your application.
To apply:
Email a resume, portfolio, and anything else you’d like us to see to hello@reverbalcommunications.com. Please use the subject line: Digital Content Associate.
A note on inclusion:
Reverbal Communications is strongly committed to working toward a more diverse and just world. We celebrate diversity and inclusion both with our clients and within our own ranks. We encourage any qualified candidate to apply, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or anything else that’s none of our dang business.
Deadline-February 25, 2026.
